Change Management Practitioner
At the end of this course the candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Ability to plan for the implementation of Change Management
Knowledge of prioritising and assessing the impact, cost, benefit and risk of proposed changes
How to organise the Request For Change (RFC) authorisation process
The requirements for preparation and management of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
How changes are managed through their lifecycle
How the production and management of the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) is achieved
Ability to define and agree change models and standard changes
Knowledge of building, testing and implementation of authorised changes
Understanding of the responsibilities for the co-ordination of the back-out of failed changes
Awareness of the support tools and techniques available for the implementation of Change Management and ability to indicate how improvements can be made
Ability to prepare for Change Management reports for distribution throughout the organisation and monitor and report on the major metrics of the change process
Understanding of the interdependencies between Change Management and other IT and Service Management processes.
